Job Purpose
Serve as a key point of contact for client enquiries and projects across an assigned portfolio. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
- Build and nurture strong working relationships with clients, liaising with key stakeholders and reporting on large-scale projects.
- Develop a deep understanding of client businesses and their objectives.
- Support in generating new opportunities with existing clients and identifying future prospects.
- Assist the Senior Account Manager in managing project campaigns, including timeline planning, cost management, supplier coordination, and internal team communication.
- Effectively communicate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Participate in creative meetings, contributing ideas for new projects.
- Monitor budgets and deadlines, escalating any issues or changes to your line manager promptly.
- Ensure all work aligns with client brand guidelines and tone of voice.
Administrative & Reporting Duties
- Collaborate with the Senior Account Manager to produce monthly reports summarising completed work, upcoming projects, profitability, and other relevant updates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date administrative records, including:
- Project management software (e.g., Asana)
- Time-tracking tools
- Cost sheets and job sheets
- Email correspondence
- Ensure company systems (e.g., Breathe HR, Timely, Outlook, Teams) are regularly updated.
- Accurately report on budgets and expenses in a timely manner.
- Ensure expense submissions are completed weekly.
General Duties
- Represent and promote the company professionally at all times.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of client brands to act as a confident advocate on their behalf.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety standards.
- Maintain company equipment, ensuring any loss or damage is reported promptly.
- Communicate availability effectively to line managers and relevant stakeholders.
- Foster clear and professional communication internally and externally.
Person Specification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in account management or advocacy, preferably within the drinks industry.
- Experience in the hospitality sector is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
