Salary £26,437–£30,400 (depending on experience and qualifications with regular pay reviews)

Our Kiddi Caru in Soundwell is looking for a caring and enthusiastic SEND Practitioner to join our team.

You will provide support within the room, while helping to identify any SEND indicators at an early stage, ensuring that every child receives the appropriate support and encouragement to thrive.

You will work closely with the nursery team and SENCo to support children's individual needs, helping to create an inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can learn, develop and reach their full potential.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting children with SEND within the nursery
  • Helping to identify children's individual needs and SEND indicators
  • Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS
  • Working closely with the SENCo and wider nursery team
  • Building positive relationships with children and their families
  • Supporting individual learning and development plans
  • Creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment
  • Working with parents and other professionals to ensure children receive the right support
  • Encouraging children's confidence, independence and development

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about supporting children and making a positive difference to their early years experience. You will be caring, patient and enthusiastic, with an understanding of children’s development and inclusive practice.

Experience of working with children with SEND would be beneficial, along with an appropriate Early Years qualification.
