We are currently recruiting for a trusted, family-run business specialising in high-quality bathroom installations and plumbing services across Bristol and the South West. With a reputation for excellent workmanship and customer satisfaction, they pride themselves on delivering bespoke bathroom solutions with a professional and friendly approach.
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Multi-Trade Bathroom Fitter to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role requiring a range of skills to complete full bathroom installations to a high standard. You will work in customers' homes, so a professional attitude, attention to detail, and respect for customers' properties are essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake full bathroom installations from start to finish, including removal of existing fittings.
- Carry out plumbing tasks such as installing new pipework, toilets, showers, basins, and baths.
- Perform basic plastering, tiling, flooring, and joinery work as required.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant building regulations and company standards.
- Liaise with customers to provide updates, resolve queries, and ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
- Use tools and materials efficiently and safely.
- Work both independently and as part of a small, supportive team.
- Proven experience as a Bathroom Fitter or Multi-Trade Operative.
- Competent in plumbing, tiling, plastering, and joinery.
- Good understanding of UK building regulations.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work tidily and respect customers' homes.
Standard hours to be worked are 40hrs per week, between the hours of 7.30am – 5.00pm, minus 30 mins for lunch. You are expected to help with cover which includes some Saturdays, rate for Saturdays is one and half times normal rate of pay. "Call Out Rota" available for after hours and weekends. There will be an additional payment of £80 per week when you are on the "Call Out Rota" plus weekdays time and half of your current rate of pay door to door after 5pm – 6.00am plus weekends from Friday 5pm to Monday morning 6.00am time and half of your current rate of pay door to door.
Benefits:- Excellent pay and overtime available.
- You will be supplied a fully expensed company van and fuel card (Van not available for private unless previously agreed).
- Company uniform supplied.
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays (once accrued). Increasing one day per year after every 5 years service, up to a maximum of 5 additional days per year.
- You will automatically be enrolled into the company pension scheme to which the company will contribute 3% of your salary providing you contribute 5% of your salary; you can choose to remain within the scheme or leave.
