Clear Capital Exchange is a London based foreign exchange and international payments brokerage. We work with UK businesses and private clients to manage currency exposure and settle cross border payments, using spot, forward contracts, market orders and hedging strategies. Clients are supported by a named consultant rather than a general service desk. Pricing, market commentary and execution are handled directly by the person who manages the relationship.

We are recruiting a Junior FX Sales Consultant to join the Exchange team. This is an entry level new business sales position and a route into the foreign exchange industry. The role involves identifying businesses that pay overseas suppliers, receive revenue in foreign currency or import goods, qualifying the opportunity and introducing Clear Capital Exchange as an alternative.

The role begins with outbound activity: building a pipeline, booking meetings and attending client calls alongside senior consultants. Responsibility increases with competence, progressing to running the full sales cycle and managing a book of accounts. Prior experience in foreign exchange or financial services is not required. Training is provided from first principles. We recruit on attitude, work rate and coachability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through outbound calling to decision makers at UK businesses, typically owners, finance directors and finance managers.
  • Research target companies and identify those with material currency exposure.
  • Qualify opportunities against currency pairs, volumes, payment frequency, incumbent provider and current cost.
  • Book and prepare meetings for senior consultants, progressing to leading meetings independently.
  • Develop working knowledge of the product set, including spot, forward contracts, market orders and hedging, and explain it clearly to non-specialists.
  • Monitor currency market movements and understand the drivers behind them.
  • Maintain accurate records of activity, notes and next steps in HubSpot.
  • Meet daily and weekly activity targets and monthly revenue targets.
  • Support client onboarding and ongoing account management to drive repeat trading.

What We Are Looking For

  • Hungry and ambitious. Wants to build a career, earn well and progress.
  • Initiative. Takes ownership, finds opportunities and does not need chasing.
  • Coachable. Willing to learn, listen and improve quickly.
  • Resilient. Comfortable with rejection and setbacks.
  • Competitive. Enjoys targets and wants to win.
  • Strong work ethic. Prepared to put the effort in.
  • Confident communicator. Can build relationships and speak with decision makers.
  • Curious. Asks questions and wants to understand the customer.
  • Accountable. Takes responsibility for their performance.
  • Positive energy. Brings enthusiasm and drive.

Candidates must hold the right to work in the UK and be able to work from our City of London office five days a week.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a target driven, customer facing role, including sales, telesales, recruitment, estate agency, retail or hospitality.
  • Interest in financial markets, currencies or economics.
  • Exposure to a CRM system such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • A second language, particularly European.
  • A record of sustained commitment in a competitive environment, such as sport.

What We Offer

  • £22,000 basic salary plus uncapped commission, paid monthly.
  • Structured training in foreign exchange markets, the product set and sales methodology.
  • A defined progression path to FX Consultant and Senior FX Consultant, with base salary and commission structure increasing at each stage.
  • Direct mentoring from senior consultants and the partners.
  • Exposure to the wider group product suite across banking, finance, digital assets and e-money.
  • Office based role in the City of London.
  • Team incentives and performance based rewards.
