We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced VDA to join a well-established site in the Cambridgeshire area.
This site is the latest addition to a well-established and growing repair group with multiple successful locations across the UK and a strong reputation for quality repairs and looking after their staff.
They are looking for an additional experienced Vehicle damage assessor to join the team.

The Role - Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA
- Inspect damaged vehicles, assessing the full extent of damage, repair costs, and timescales
- Identify the correct prescribed repair method and ensure accurate documentation
- Carrying out remote estimates in addition.
- Prepare computerised and manual estimates, keeping up-to-date records of all work
- Liaise with insurance companies to gain repair authorisations and confirm repair costs
- Communicate effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians to ensure correct repair methodology is followed
- Ensure all amendments to repairs are authorised by insurers
- Work closely with bodyshop staff to ensure prescribed repair methods are carried out correctly
About You
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator
- Audatex experience is essential
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Able to work efficiently in a busy, professional accident repair environment
