This isn't a role for someone who simply keeps a bodyshop running.
We're looking for a true business leader who can inspire people, drive performance, develop high-performing teams and deliver exceptional commercial results across a busy, successful accident repair centre.
If you've built your career within the accident repair industry or you're currently leading a franchised dealer bodyshop, this is an opportunity to take operational and commercial ownership of an established, high-performing repair centre with the backing of a successful and growing repair group.
You'll inherit an experienced team, established relationships with work providers and the autonomy to make a genuine impact on site performance.
This is a role for an ambitious leader who enjoys taking ownership, empowering teams and continually improving performance.
You'll have the opportunity to influence the success of your site while being supported by an established and growing repair group.
The Role - Bodyshop General Manager
Your responsibilities will include
- Leading and developing an experienced team of Paint Sprayers, Panel Beaters, MET Technicians, VDA's and administrative staff.
- Full operational responsibility for the site, including Health & Safety, financial performance, customer satisfaction and operational KPIs.
- Driving productivity, efficiency and profitability across the business.
- Delivering and exceeding Key-to-Key, CSI and financial targets.
- Providing strong leadership to all site employees to achieve operational and commercial objectives.
- Monitoring site performance through financial reporting and operational KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with insurers, work providers, suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Holding daily production meetings with Team Leaders, Parts and Reception teams to ensure repairs are completed on time.
- Managing customer concerns professionally while maintaining exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.
- Experience using Autoflow BMS, Audatex or similar bodyshop management systems would be advantageous.
What we are looking for
- We're searching for a commercially minded leader-not just an operational manager.
- You'll already have experience leading a successful accident repair operation or a manufacturer-approved dealer bodyshop and understand what it takes to deliver outstanding operational and financial performance.
