MET Technician / Strip & Fit
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced MET Technician to join a modern, well-equipped accident repair centre in Dartford.

Key Responsibilities
- Remove and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components
- Strip and rebuild vehicles to manufacturer standards
- Dismantle accident-damaged vehicles for repair
- Carry out diagnostics, inspections, and fault-finding
- Complete steering, suspension, and wheel alignment work
- Order and fit replacement parts
- Reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition
- Ensure all repairs meet quality, safety, and manufacturer requirements
- Complete work efficiently within agreed repair times
Requirements
- Previous experience as a MET Technician, Strip Fitter, or Bodyshop Mechanic
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills
- Ability to follow technical repair methods accurately
- ATA, NVQ Level 3, or IMI Level 3 qualification advantageous
- Positive attitude and commitment to high-quality repairs
