As a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, you will be already skilled in servicing and repair/replacement work. You will have the ability to carry out more complex tasks such as clutches and timing belt replacements and diagnostics in areas such as vehicle electrics, brake steering and suspension systems.

The Job: Vehicle Technician / Mechanic

  • Carrying out interim, full, and major services on all types of cars
  • Follow-up repair and replacement work.
  • Responsibilities include working on tyres, brakes, transmission, steering, suspension, and more
  • Inspect vehicle components including brakes, lights, steering, and tyres for functionality and safety.
  • Confident use of hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance.
  • Communicate findings clearly to customers, providing explanations of any issues discovered during testing.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations while working in the workshop environment
  • Team player willing to assist in other workshop duties as and when required.

You will work 5 days a week across Monday to Saturday and be given 2 days off a week on a rota basis.

Job Experience: Mechanic / Vehicle Technician - Level 3

  • Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience
  • Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
