Location: Peterborough

Salary: £29,835 - £32,818

Permanent Position, on-site parking, large preparation centre

Shifts available:

  • Days: 6am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday
  • Afternoons: 3.30pm - 1am Mon - Thursday, 3pm - 8pm Fridays

We currently have 2 Vehicle Polisher / Oven Rectification positions available for a large vehicle preparation site with a modern working environment, on a permanent basis, to carry out all polishing activities within a state-of-the-art vehicle refurbishment centre.

You will need to have Polisher / Oven Rectification experience to be successful in securing this position, and we can offer an immediate start.

The Job:

  • Involved in all aspects of oven rectifications on a variety of new and nearly new cars
  • Polishing freshly painted cars that have come out of the booth
  • Undertake the exterior polishing of vehicles using the correct materials and tools
  • Prioritise work efficiently to meet deadlines ensuring awareness of urgent vehicles and due out dates
  • Ensure there are no defects on work produced
  • Experience working in a similar high-volume refurbishment environment preferable
  • Confident using all the necessary tools and materials
  • Experience with or be happy with working in a high-volume modern body shop

Vehicle / Automotive Polisher experience is essential to be successful in this role.
