Overview
Vehicle Paint Sprayer – Basingstoke
Up to £47,000 OTE £65,000 (Base salary negotiable + Time saved bonus). Bonus banked weekly and paid monthly. Monday to Friday – 45 hours per week. Access up to 30% of your wages in advance every month. 29 days annual leave, rising with years of service, private Healthcare plan, progression available, expanding company. - Role: Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Vehicle Painter
Responsibilities
- Paint repaired vehicles to a high standard using trusted systems like Glasurit, Spies Hecker, or PPG
- Work confidently with modern water-based paint systems
- Prepare vehicles for paint by hand or machine, ensuring surfaces are ready for a flawless finish
- Mix and match colours using traditional techniques and computerised technology for accuracy
- Apply primers and top coats using spray guns, rub down between coats for a smooth result
- Perform seamless blends for invisible repairs
- Handle full resprays, touch-ups, and final polish
- Remove masking materials and finish with wax and polish
- Apply rust-proofing treatments where required
- Work inside a dedicated spray booth to maintain quality and contain overspray
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer within a bodyshop or accident repair environment
- Strong technical knowledge of car painting processes and repair methods
- An eye for detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
- An ATA accreditation or Level 3 equivalent qualification is a plus
