We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Panel Beater to join a successful repair centre. This site is performing exceptionally well and benefits from a stable, experienced team and a strong pipeline of work.
We are looking for a skilled Panel Beater with experience in either a body shop or accident repair environment. ATA, NVQ Level 3, or IMI Level 3 qualifications would be highly advantageous, although experienced candidates without formal qualifications will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair or replace damaged body panels in line with manufacturer and repair centre standards.
- Carry out chassis and framework repairs where required.
- Strip and refit vehicle panels and bodywork components.
- Complete panel straightening, dent removal, and filler work.
- Replace panels, including quarter panels.
- Perform welding and bonding repairs to vehicle structures.
- Remove and replace complete body shells when necessary.
- Ensure all repairs are completed to pre-accident condition.
- Work to BS10125 Kitemark standards and manufacturer repair methods.
- Operate jigs, fixtures, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure repairs are completed without defects.
- Maintain a safe and organised working environment, following all health and safety procedures.
