Responsibilities
- Be the driving force behind a skilled on-site team including Paint Sprayers, Panel Beaters, MET Technicians, Estimators, and admin staff. Lead from the front to create a positive, productive work environment and set the pace for performance, quality, and customer service.
- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site, including health & safety, financial performance, customer satisfaction, and team morale.
- Set targets, monitor KPIs, and ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
- Oversee the repair and claims process from job estimates through to final delivery. Knowledge of Autoflow BMS and Audatex is advantageous.
- Recruit new talent, hold daily production meetings, and collaborate with parts, reception, suppliers, and work providers to keep operations running smoothly.
- Meet or exceed CSI and Key-to-Key targets with support from the senior management team.
- Manage costs and productivity, handle issues (including rare customer complaints), and maintain overall site performance.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Bodyshop Manager or similar leadership role in a bodyshop.
- Knowledge of accident repair processes; experience with Autoflow BMS and Audatex is a plus, but not essential.
- Strong leadership, people management, and process optimization skills.
- Ability to recruit and develop talent and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
