Bodyshop Manager – Basingstoke

£50,000 – £75,000 + Car Allowance • Permanent position, Monday to Friday

Access up to 30% of your salary in advance every month. BS|I approved site. Leading name in the industry with a successful and high performing team.

What we are looking for

Experienced Bodyshop Manager / General Manager with knowledge of the accident repair market to join a growing repair group and oversee daily operations at a successful site. A strong bodyshop / accident repair background is essential.

The Role

Bodyshop Manager

Your role will be varied and all-encompassing with the following duties. For a full job specification please contact Clear Automotive.

• Manage the on-site team of specialists – Paint Sprayers, Panel Beaters, MET Technicians, Estimator and administrative staff
• Oversee site management including Health and Safety, Performance Management, Financials, Customer Service and target setting
• Familiarity with Autoflow BMS and Audatex estimating system (preferred)
• Lead by example and promote a positive work ethic
• Recruitment and delivery against key performance indicators with the support of the senior management team
• Ensure Key to Key and CSI targets are met or exceeded
• Provide strong leadership to direct reports and all site employees to achieve financial and operational targets
• Understand business needs, accounts, reports and KPIs
• Effectively manage site resources and costs to optimise capability and profitability
• Monitor individual productive performance to minimise non-productive time
• Establish, maintain and promote good working relations with key personnel
• Hold daily production meetings to ensure work completion targets with team leaders, parts and reception staff
• Actively manage work provider and supplier relationships
• Deal with customer issues promptly and professionally

• Experience in site management within the accident repair industry
