We are looking for Part II Architectural Assistants to join the team at Clear Architects. Based on the East London/Essex borders, our studio is accessible via the Central Line, approx. 25-minute drive from Walthamstow/Leyton and within a short walk to Epping Forest. We work on carefully considered high-end residential projects in unique and often challenging settings — combining thoughtful sustainable design and planning expertise with a strong focus on delivering designs on site.
The process of bringing that design to life through coordination, detail, and care defines what we do.
What it is like to work with us:
- We are a close-knit team working across all stages of a project, from early research and planning strategy through to detailed design and delivery on site.
- There is a strong emphasis on attention to detail — not just in drawings, but in thinking.
- Ownership — taking responsibility for work.
- Engagement — with the project, the team, and the wider process.
Depending on experience, team members are typically involved across multiple stages. Early stages involve research, testing ideas, and developing concepts; later stages move into finalising that design, technical coordination, and ensuring what has been imagined can actually be built — and built well.
The kind of people who tend to thrive here:
- You take pride in your work and care about the outcome.
- You are curious and willing to properly engage with a problem before asking for an answer.
- You can think holistically, understanding how decisions affect the wider project.
- You are attentive to detail, but not at the expense of the bigger picture.
- You are collaborative, considered, and easy to work with.
We value people who want to learn and take responsibility.
What matters to us:
- We are a team that cares — about the planet, our projects, each other, and about doing things properly.
- This means listening and constantly learning.
- Taking the time to understand a problem and trying to find answers.
- Being thoughtful in how we communicate and collaborate.
- Maintaining a level of rigour that ensures our projects are delivered to a high standard at all stages.
It also means being part of a studio where people tend to stay, develop, and grow over time. Experience with AutoCAD, Revit or similar software is helpful.
If this resonates with you and you are interested in what we do, we would be very keen to hear from you. Please send through your CV and portfolio. Our closing date for applications is 29th June 2026.
