The Role – Service Chemist
Manage and develop long standing client relationships, with an intense focus on exceeding client expectations and driving service delivery. You will have a hands-on approach to service and deliver value through developing and managing technical projects to solve customer problems.

This role is focused on but not limited to food, beverage, pharma and light manufacturing industries.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out water testing of systems to validate correct application of additives and equipment calibrations/first fix
- Provide support to customers in maintaining legionella compliance
- Have oversight of internal processes from order placement to delivery.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within current and prospective customers
- Provide technical support to customers, identifying and resolving customer challenges, and escalating to expert colleagues as required
- Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, plant surveys, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels
- Actively sell and support innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships
Attributes Required:
- Over 3 years’ experience of successful technical or field experience
- Chemistry related Degree or A-Levels such as Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology etc or Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering
- A willingness to collaborate as part of a technically excellent team and service whilst being valued for your contribution
- Aptitude and confidence to deal with large national and multi-national customers.
- Ability to work hands on with samples
- Self-motivated and ability to work and develop under your own initiative
- Full UK Driver\’s licence
