The Role
As Senior Landscape Architect, you will:
- Shape development proposals from inception to completion, placing landscape planning at the forefront.
- Deliver high-quality reporting, including LVAs, LVIAs, EIAs, feasibility studies, and strategic landscape proposals.
- Provide expert due diligence advice on landscape character and visual matters.
- Collaborate with in-house ecology, green/blue infrastructure, and arboriculture teams for integrated project solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, statutory bodies, and LPAs.
- Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing.
- Contribute to business development and explore opportunities for winning new work.
About You
You\βre a creative, solutions-focused professional who thrives on variety and collaboration. You bring technical expertise, design vision, and a commitment to delivering projects that respect and enhance the environment.
- Degree in a relevant subject.
- Minimum 4 years experience, ideally CMLI or on the Pathway to Chartership.
- Proven experience in LVIAs and LVAs, with strong mitigation and landscape design skills.
- EIA experience and a strong grasp of UK legislative and planning policy frameworks.
- Skilled in project management and client engagement.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience mentoring colleagues.
- Track record in business development.
- Involvement in Public Inquiry work.
