- What you'll actually be doing
- Lead and manage ecological projects from inception through to completion, across diverse projects
- Deliver high-quality ecological reports & mitigation design that shape outcomes for clients and communities
- Provide technical leadership and expert ecological advice across a range of projects and sectors.
- Take ownership of small–medium projects & play a key role in major schemes across Scotland
- Influence stakeholders, regulators, contractors & partners to deliver better environmental results
- Mentor junior colleagues & grow your own leadership profile
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated environmental solutions.
- Support innovation and continuous improvement across ecological service delivery.
- We're looking for
- Relevant degree + proven consultancy experience
- Solid knowledge of UK ecology legislation & survey techniques (bats / mammals / GCN / botany all welcome)
- Experience with HRA, Ec IA, EIA chapters
- Client-facing confidence + clear, persuasive report writing
- Desire to step into a role where your expertise is listened to
