Responsibilities
- Leading ecological audits and onsite environmental checks.
- Delivering toolbox talks and guiding contractors.
- Producing site reports, Environmental Management Plans, and Species Protection Plans.
- Balancing fieldwork, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Operating in varied environments from remote wild areas to live construction sites.
What we’re looking for (Qualifications)
- 2 years’ proven experience in ECoW or Ecology.
- Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or related field.
- Experience applying Scottish/UK environmental legislation.
- CIEEM membership (or working towards it; AEECoW is a bonus).
- Confident in habitat and protected species ecology (bats, birds, badger, otter, water vole, etc.).
- Full UK driving licence (4×4/off-road ability desirable).
- Strong communication, reporting, and organisational skills.
