Test & Evaluation Engineer – Uncrewed Systems
South West (on-site) | Permanent | £50,000 – £70,000+ DOE

Our client is a growing UK organisation working with uncrewed and autonomous systems across defence, government and commercial programmes. They’re looking for an experienced test and evaluation professional to join a hands-on team.

Why this role

This is a chance to get involved in live trials of emerging uncrewed technologies, from planning a trial through to reporting the results. You’ll be part of a close team of pilots, engineers and operations and safety specialists, with real influence over how testing is done and improved.

What you’ll bring

• A track record in test and evaluation, ideally gained in both military and commercial settings. This combination is what the client values most.
• Experience planning and running structured trials, from test plans and setup to execution on the day.
• A methodical approach to capturing data, spotting issues and producing clear reports.
• Comfort working to procedures, quality standards and safety requirements in a regulated environment.
• Familiarity with UAS, aviation or a related engineering field.
• The ability to communicate clearly with technical and operational colleagues.
• A background in engineering, aerospace or systems testing would be useful but isn’t essential.Location
