Our client are a growing defence consultancy who are looking for an experienced strategy consultant for a flexible, interim engagement supporting organisations that want to grow their presence in the defence market.
You’ll combine a consulting background with a practical understanding of how defence buys, including procurement routes, the role of primes and integrators, and what organisations need to be credible defence suppliers. You’ll be comfortable starting from a blank page: researching a market, forming a clear view and setting out practical, well-argued recommendations in writing.
You’ll bring:
- Experience in strategy, management consulting, or senior business development or capture roles in defence and national security
- A track record of producing clear, evidence-based written analysis and recommendations
- Knowledge of UK defence procurement, plus NATO or international markets
- The ability to work independently and on a flexible basis
- This suits an experienced interim or independent consultant who enjoys varied assignments and working through a specialist partner.
