Maritime Autonomy Specialist (USV/UUV) - SME or Interim - SC Cleared
Location: Hybrid | Rate: DOE, senior day-rate | Engagement: Interim contractor or SME/consultancy route
We want to speak with specialists in this field for a consultancy we are working with. Our client would like to engage with professionals working in the Maritime Autonomy world within the defence and security industry, focused on autonomous / uncrewed maritime systems.
The potential role will act as an independent, vendor-neutral interface between the client, stakeholders, and technology suppliers, providing genuine technical insight into maritime autonomous systems (USV, UUV, MAS), not programme management or liaison experience alone.
We're looking for professionals with:
- Hands-on technical experience in the design, build, deployment or operation of autonomous maritime vessels or systems (USV/UUV)
- Credibility to engage confidently with both public sector and industry stakeholders
- Current SC essential and DV highly desirable
- Willingness to engage on an independent/interim basis, or via an established SME/consultancy vehicle
This is an early-stage requirement and we are looking to build relationships with interims who are working in this space.
