Location: Hexham / Tynedale area
Salary: £24,000 basic plus overtime
Role Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: 48 hours
Role Accountabilities:
- Deliver maintenance and repair service to CSG customers.
- Diagnose, problem-solve and quote for repairs.
- Provide installation and refurbishment service of pump stations, treatment plants and interceptors.
- Maintain and update maintenance reports.
- Comply with Group H&S policies and behaviours.
- Demonstrate CSG management performance behaviours.
Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship: You will be enrolled onto a Level 3 Maintenance Operations Engineering Technician (Electrical bias) apprenticeship, to learn the foundation knowledge, skills and behaviours in engineering and work towards a technical certificate over two academic years. After the initial training, you will work towards developing your skills, knowledge and behaviours required for an end point assessment, consisting of a practical observation, an online test, and a professional discussion. The apprenticeship should last between 36-42 months and for candidates who do well there will be the opportunity for further career progression and a salary review.
The Candidate:
- 4 GCSEs at grades A-C, grade 5 and above or the equivalent, these should include English Language, Maths and a Science subject.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail, taking pride in completing repairs to a high level of quality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A methodical and hands on approach to learning.
- Able to work alone and within a larger team.
- Full UK driving licence.
