Role Accountabilities:
- Generate new business sales within specific industry sectors from both existing and potential clients.
- Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote and sell the full range of CSG services in line with current marketing campaigns.
- Handle inbound customer enquiries professionally via telephone, email and other communication channels.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, developing your own portfolio of clients and account managing key accounts where required.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while building a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Research potential clients and markets to ensure CSG solutions are tailored to customer needs.
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing, Field Sales, Tendering and Sewage Telesales teams to maximise sales opportunities and act on leads.
- Ensure all sales activity, customer interactions and opportunities are accurately recorded on the CRM system and administration is completed on time.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, demonstrating CSG performance behaviours and excellent customer service.
- Comply with Group Health & Safety policies and ensure safe working practices at all times.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage with customers via phone and email.
- Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and performance indicators.
- Ability to identify opportunities and proactively suggest ideas or solutions.
- Strong listening and relationship-building skills.
- Good IT skills including experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to meet deadlines and team objectives.
