Responsibilities
- Collect hazardous and non‑hazardous waste in a Class1 curtain‑sided vehicle.
- Perform daily heavy lifting, up to 25kg for drum collection.
- Spend nights in a sleeper cab from Monday to Friday.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork related to waste collection.
Qualifications
- HGV Class1 Driver licence (clean licence required).
- ADR Licence is an advantage; training will be provided.
- CPC qualification.
- Relevant driving experience and possession of a Digi‑card.
- Strong driving record and excellent driving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- High written and mathematical competence for paperwork.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Salary
£38,000 starting salary, increased to £40,000 after successful completion of the probation period. Further salary increases to be considered after one year of service.
