Location: London HO- Vauxhall (Hybrid – Work-from-home Fridays!)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (Negotiable based on experience) + Excellent Benefits
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Act as the main point of contact for all HR matters, providing expert advice and guidance to managers and employees.
- Lead and manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and absence.
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices are legally compliant and aligned with best practice.
- Partner with senior leaders to support workforce planning, organisational development, and people strategy.
- Manage and develop the HR team, providing coaching, support, and direction.
- Oversee HR systems and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Lead employee engagement, wellbeing, and retention initiatives.
- Support learning and development activities and career progression pathways.
- Drive HR projects that support company culture, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Analyse HR data and metrics to inform decision-making and report on people trends.
- Champion company values and promote a fair, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role at Manager or Senior HR level.
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Confident advising and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Experience managing employee relations cases independently.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism.
- CIPD Level 5 (or above) qualified or working towards (desirable).
- Fluent Spanish or Portuguese is a plus (but not essential).
