We have a vacancy for a Recycling Operative - Evenings.
LOCATION: Ilfracombe, Station Road, Ilfracombe, Devon, EX34 8BH.
HOURS: 39 hours per week. 8 hours Monday to Thursday and 7 hours Friday. Pay: £13.19 per hour (£12.69 per hour + 50p per hour attendance bonus), rising in April.
The primary function of the role involves:
- Removing all waste from various production areas including cleanroom environments.
- Segregating waste into the relevant waste stream for collection/onward disposal.
- Operating various equipment such as balers and compactors.
This role is quite physical, and some heavy lifting is required. Although you will be part of a large team, you must be able to work independently, so good time management and a pro-active approach are needed.
