Cleaning Team Leader

Role Description
The Cleaning Team Leader is responsible for leading the cleaning team and maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards throughout the venue. You will ensure all customer and staff areas are clean, safe, and presentable while supporting day-to-day operations in a fast-paced entertainment environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the cleaning team during shifts.
- Allocate tasks and ensure cleaning schedules are completed.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all customer and back-of-house areas.
- Regularly inspect and maintain toilet facilities.
- Support venue operations through table clearing, glass collection, and housekeeping.
- Monitor cleaning stock levels and report shortages.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
- Escalate maintenance, cleanliness, and safety issues to management.
- Assist with opening, closing, and deep cleaning duties.
- Support the training and onboarding of new team members.
Skills & Experience Technical
- Minimum 1 years' cleaning experience.
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience preferred.
- Experience within hospitality, leisure, or high-volume venues.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and cleaning standards.
Personal
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Positive, proactive, and reliable attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Excellent verbal and written English is required for this role.
