We are seeking energetic and reliable Part-Time Early Morning Cleaners to join our dynamic cleaning team. This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy starting their day with a sense of accomplishment. As a key contributor to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, you will be responsible for performing thorough cleaning duties across various facilities during early morning hours. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial or residential settings.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor polishers to ensure high-quality results.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas according to established standards.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing special attention or maintenance issues requiring escalation.
- Follow safety protocols and use proper handling techniques for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with light custodial duties related to facilities maintenance or minor repairs as needed.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked, organized, and properly stored after each shift.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a focus on commercial or industrial environments.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers and floor scrubbers safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or painting is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a positive attitude.
Schedule
Early morning or late night cleans, mid day toilet refresh for an hour. 7 days a week on rotation. 364 days a year. 4am to 6am in teams of two for ease of work and to complete before the clubhouse opens in the summer. Own transport is advisable as bus runs too late to complete 4am shift.
