Overview

Job Description: RFID Project Operator — Nottingham. £12.75 per hour, paid weekly, plus Pension, Life Assurance, EAP, Recommend a Friend Bonus Scheme, Performance Awards, Long Service Awards and opportunities for training and development. The role is offered on a full time, temporary basis until May 2026. The role operates on a 4 on, 4 off rotating shift pattern and will include weekends. The hours of work are 6.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the end-to-end RFID process, including sorting, scanning, and tagging linen with RFID chips.
  • Ensure accurate handling and recording of linen items throughout the process.
  • Safely move linen using cages and other equipment, following manual handling procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily and project-based targets.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and efficiency in all tasks.
  • Follow site health & safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • The ideal candidates can collaboratively work in small teams effectively and efficiently while maintaining a good level of accuracy and attention to detail, as these are paramount to the success of the project.
  • This is a physical role due to a high level of manual handling involved.
  • We are looking for reliable and flexible candidates who are committed to achieving our project goals.
  • Proof of Right to Work in the UK is required, be aged 18 or over, and be able to communicate in English — our business language.
