Join to apply for the role at Clean Harbors. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the VP of Product Engineering (Custom .NET) oversees teams of software platforms, providing leadership, vision, and strategy for the platform engineering organization.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring health and safety compliance at all times
- Developing and executing strategy for Custom .NET software applications
- Understanding integration concepts for software with SaaS and on-premises third-party software
- Defining product vision aligned with business objectives
- Providing thought leadership and strategic insight to the engineering team
- Understanding customer needs to ensure positive product experiences
- Recruiting and developing a high-performing platform engineering team
- Overseeing end-to-end application development following SDLC standards
- Collaborating with MIS team, architects, and developers on large projects
- Working with business stakeholders to define project scope and ensure adoption
- Monitoring key metrics for continuous improvement
- Managing project risks, delivery, and communication
- Coordinating with senior leaders to meet objectives
- Gathering and analyzing feedback to improve products
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration
- At least 10 years of software product management experience
- At least 7 years leading product management teams
- Proven ability to build, launch, and scale software products
- Experience with integrating software with Oracle or Salesforce is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects and reprioritise proactively
- Experience working with engineering teams on large projects
- Comfort with data analysis and customer research
