Clean Harbors is seeking an EOC Duty Operator I responsible for operating the 24-Hour Emergency Operations Center.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the 24-Hour Emergency Operations Center and manage all communications during your shift.
• Handle calls courteously and professionally, ensuring proper documentation and immediate response.
• Record detailed information and publish shift reports.
• Maintain and update EOC reference materials, conduct routine tests, and verify data accuracy.
• Provide detailed shipping info for hazardous materials upon request.
• Ensure phones are covered after hours and assist in training new operators.
• Support field operations with administrative and emergency response needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Customer service skills, decisiveness, and ability to work independently or in a team
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and remain calm during crises
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
