Lean Harbors, located in Corunna, Ontario, is seeking an Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic to join a safety-conscious team. The role involves assisting in the maintenance and repair of heavy handling units, including tractors, trailers, and loaders.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure that health and safety practices are followed in all tasks.
- Secure all equipment before work or repairs using chock blocks and jack stands.
- Correct equipment deficiencies and perform preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
- Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify required repairs.
- Perform routine and specific maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose and repair light and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Disassemble, inspect, and replace worn or broken parts.
- Fit and adjust new or repaired parts.
- Complete and submit all associated paperwork for tracking preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and hazard-free shop area.
Qualifications:
- Registered as a Truck and Coach Technician Apprentice.
- Previous experience as a heavy-duty mechanic is an asset.
- Experience with hydraulics is an asset.
- Experience working on vacuum trucks is an asset.
- Ability to use J Pro diagnostic software.
- Full driver’s license required.
