The Field Service Supervisor responsible for the safe and efficient handling and processing of waste at the customers facility. Ensure that the field services team consistently meets regulatory, and safety compliance measures and operates in a productive and profitable manner. Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions) Manage the team responsible for the hazardous and non-hazardous waste including all reactive, cylinders and specialty waste. Act as a technical resource for the team overseeing consolidation operations and or cleanout projects. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, both internally and externally. Work with management team to implement, update and develop standard work practices. Ensure appropriate paperwork is completed, and data is entered correctly in system including manifest and land disposal restriction forms. Assist in ensuring that projects meet regulatory, and safety compliance measures and operates in a safe, productive and profitable manner. Ensures compliance with all program objectives. Work closely with operations department to coordinate scheduling and transportation needs. Select and train an efficient and effective staff including coaching/mentoring, goal setting, motivating, providing resources needed to do their jobs, conducting performance reviews, providing performance feedback; make recommendations for annual merit increases. Administer, communicate and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures among direct reports. Address and resolve daily and immediate housekeeping issues, i.e., spills are cleaned, floor is dry, and no debris is found on the floors. Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management Qualifications Basic Requirements: High school diploma or GED 3+ years working in Hazardous waste. 1+ years of supervisory experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Willingness and ability to work safely in a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving vehicles, electrical current, and exposure to chemicals. Knowledge of hazardous materials and OSHA regulation Physically agile and dexterous and undeterred by adverse climatic conditions DOT physical lifting requirements – 50 lbs Preferred Requirements Experience operating heavy equipment Possess a valid driver’s license Excellent verbal and written skills Knowledge of RCRA, DOT and DEA Regulations as they relate to waste characterization and the transportation of hazardous waste 40-hour Hazwoper and 8-hour refresher certifications Ability to manage/prioritize several tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point Additional Information Clean Earth offers competitive benefits including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance plans starting on the first day of employment; paid time off, wellness benefits, employee discount program, tuition assistance, and a 401k with company matching.
