Our technologies serve industries such as energy, infrastructure, commercial, industrial, retail, and healthcare.
In the CDL Driver role, you will travel to locations along an assigned route to pack, transport, and properly dispose of waste materials in accordance with environmentally responsible policies. This position requires maintaining accurate records, following instructions, and working independently after training. This position may require up to 4 overnights and some weekend work. You will receive a company card for hotel expenses and a daily stipend for meals and other expenses.
Job Details
- Package and transport waste safely per all federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
- Complete required paperwork in accordance with appropriate regulations and customer policies, practices, and procedures.
- Load, secure, and unload materials and waste at customer sites or Clean Earth locations.
- Prepare and load truck with necessary supplies.
- Provide the highest level of customer service to assigned accounts daily, communicating any issues to the Manager or Dispatcher.
- Perform a documented pre‑trip and post‑trip check on assigned truck before leaving and after closing each day.
- Plan schedule/route based on customer needs by reviewing daily paperwork (e.g., manifests, route sheets).
- Follow routing software route schedule.
- Follow all DOT guidelines while driving.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- High School diploma or GED
- Understand, read, and write English
- Able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Able to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of Windows‑based software (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Willing and able to wear company‑provided personal protective equipment: eye protection, foot protection, Tyvek coveralls, respirator (as needed)
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Hazmat endorsement
- Able to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid TWIC Card
- At least 1 year of route driving experience
- Knowledge of hazardous materials and OSHA regulations
