The Vacancy
Pro currently has an exciting opportunity for Technical Analysts to be part of our Insurance Services team in the Delegated Bordereaux area. The job holder will be required to meet service levels, deliverables and deadlines for the processing of insurance and reinsurance premiums and claims.
Pro operates a flexible hybrid working policy and this role would be based either working at home or at our London, Gloucester or Liverpool office.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Processing and Quality Control of Risk, Premium and Claim Delegated Bordereau into a client system.
- Processing tasks accurately, in an efficient manner, in line with client SLA’s.
- Monitor Client Outlook folders for incoming premium bordereaux in the absence of a formal workflow tool, in order to identify and prioritise bordereaux for processing.
- Identifying anomalies within the Bordereau, raising queries and amending where necessary.
- Identify cash receipts from the client system and matching back to the bordereau.
- Interacting with clients in a professional manner over the phone or via email.
- Training less experienced colleagues and new starters
- Handle and resolve Client, broker and Coverholder queries as well as internal queries from team members
- Assist with client workflow management and daily/weekly/monthly reporting
- Have an appreciation of Client KPIs and SLAs.
Skills and Experience
- Strong technical skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
- Understanding of principles of insurance and reinsurance is essential.
- Good understanding of London market systems and procedures is desirable.
- Knowledge of Property, Casualty, and Marine business classes desirable but not essential. Likewise, knowledge of the US insurance business would be advantageous.
- Maintain a conscientious, positive and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good working relationships with colleagues.
- Ability to work remotely.
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills
- Ability to demonstrate initiative
- Experience in Intrali or similar bordereaux processing software, including data validation and analysis essential
- Proficient in analyzing and manipulating data using tools such as Excel
- Proficient in map creation using Intrali or similar software to produce detailed maps for capturing data desirable
- Proficient in handling bordereaux data, including data cleansing and reconciliation processes
