We are looking for a skilled and reliable Vehicle Service Technician to join our busy workshop. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality servicing and repair work on motorhomes, caravans, cars, and light commercial vehicles. This is a varied hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys mechanical work and takes pride in getting vehicles safe, reliable, and ready for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Tyre changes, wheel balancing and alignment checks
- Replacement of brake discs, pads and greasing of brake calipers
- Carrying out full vehicle services including oil changes, air filters, fuel filters and spark plugs
- Servicing and maintenance of motorhome & caravan habitation systems
- Toilet cassette / chemical toilet flush and sanitation system servicing
- General workshop duties and vehicle preparation
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or Motorhome Technician
- Strong mechanical knowledge (brakes, servicing, tyres)
- Experience working on motorhomes or caravans is highly desirable
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently to high standards
- Valid UK driving licence (preferably clean)
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- NVQ / City & Guilds qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance is advantageous
