Within this challenging role, you will complete regular quality checks within port operations.
Your role
To work in a safe manner around the terminal and to follow the Health and Safety rules, maintaining compliance with the Terminal Procedures, Company Policies and Safe Systems of Work.
Completing regular quality audits and inspections, recording the findings and reporting these back to Management.
Accurately collate and record damages and quality related data.
Liaise closely with all terminal departments via phone, email and any other relevant company applications.
Promote and regularly update the quality spotlight system ensuring action points are recorded and closed off.
To be competent in identifying, completing and reviewing damages upon road arrival vehicles and feedback any damage trends to Management.
Assist in preparing and attending quality related meetings as required.
Assist the car operations teams as required.
To assist and work closely with operational and non-operational teams and staff from other departments.
Your profile
Have a full UK valid driving license.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Have a high degree of flexibility with working hours.
Have good communication skills with all levels of management and staff.
The ability to take ownership, improve and lead others to maximize efficiency and quality of a task or process.
Attention to detail in all aspects.
Have a basic working knowledge of IT equipment.
Able to retain information and disseminate when required.
