CLdN Cargo is a pan-European logistics operator providing door-to-door services across Europe, utilising road, rail, sea and barge networks. CLdN Cargo employs over 180 people at ten locations in Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Portugal Spain and Sweden. CLdN Cargo’s vision is to forge strategic partnerships with our clients by providing customised and innovative logistics solutions. Do you have a passion for transport and logistics and are you looking for a new challenge? If so, we are looking for a Customer Services / Logistics Representative to work and strengthen the team in our Grangemouth Office. This is initially a temporary position with a view to transitioning to a permanent contract, subject to performance and business requirements.

Your role

  • Customer Service & Operations: Provide high quality services for cargo bookings.
  • Supplier & Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with hauliers, customers, ports, pilots and customs authorities to ensure seamless logistics.
  • Cross Team Collaboration: Liaise with colleagues across the UK and European offices to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Customs & Documentation: Assist with customs procedures and ensure all transport documentation is accurate.
  • Problem Solving: Take ownership of challenges, identify root causes and drive effective solutions.
  • Quotations & Pricing: Prepare and manage client quotations, ensuring they are competitive and accurate.

Your profile

  • Have proven administration experience preferably within a transport or shipping environment
  • Be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Possess a flexible approach to work
  • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • To understand IT systems
  • Be able to work to a high level of accuracy with attention to detail
  • Be able to work independently, but also as part of a team
