Role Overview
The Stock Auditor is responsible for maintaining accurate stock records within the warehouses and yards and ensuring products are correctly labelled, stored, and readily available to support manufacturing and dispatch activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Stock Control
- Carry out daily and weekly stock counts.
- Record stock movements accurately using warehouse systems and paperwork.
- Report stock discrepancies to the Inventory Controller.
Location Control
- Ensure stock and pallets are stored in the correct warehouse locations.
- Check that physical stock matches system locations.
- Move stock where required to maintain warehouse organisation.
Labelling & Accuracy
- Check product and pallet labels for accuracy.
- Ensure labels contain the correct product information, quantities, and batch details.
Warehouse Support
- Ensure stock is available and accessible for picking and packing activities.
- Support goods‑in and goods‑out processes when required.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous warehouse or stock control experience.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic numeracy and computer skills.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to lift and move stock safely where required.
