This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and experienced conveyancing professional who is looking to join a supportive team and take responsibility for their own caseload.
The Role
As an experienced Conveyancer, you will manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion, providing a high level of service to clients throughout the process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters.
- Handling sales, purchases, freehold and leasehold transactions.
- Progressing transactions efficiently and proactively.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors.
- Reviewing contracts, title documentation and searches.
- Dealing with enquiries and resolving issues throughout the transaction.
- Preparing and reviewing legal documentation.
- Ensuring files are managed accurately and in accordance with relevant procedures and regulations.
- Providing regular updates to clients and maintaining excellent client relationships.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Proven experience working as a Conveyancer within a law firm.
- Strong residential conveyancing experience and the ability to manage a caseload independently.
- Excellent knowledge of the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and client-care skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work to deadlines.
- Good attention to detail and strong IT skills.
