We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Conveyancing Assistant to join our busy property team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in residential property law to support fee earners in managing a varied caseload from instruction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting fee earners with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions
- Opening and closing client files, including AML and compliance checks
- Preparing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and third parties
- Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and handling enquiries
- Ordering searches and managing post-completion matters
- Maintaining accurate records and updating case management systems
Requirements
- Previous experience in a conveyancing or legal assistant role preferred
