CLD Recruitment is working with an established, award-winning personal injury claims specialist based in Huddersfield, who is looking to recruit a Legal Assistant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Law graduate or someone with a genuine interest in law who wants to develop a career within personal injury and claims, without necessarily following the traditional solicitor route. THE ROLE Working as part of the claims team, you will provide support throughout the claims process, dealing with clients and helping to progress their cases from initial instruction through to resolution. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with the management and progression of personal injury claims Communicating with clients and keeping them updated throughout their claim Gathering information and supporting documentation Liaising with relevant third parties, insurers and other professionals Preparing correspondence and legal documentation Maintaining accurate case records and updating systems Supporting the wider legal and claims team Ensuring clients receive a professional and supportive service throughout their claim ABOUT YOU Were particularly interested in candidates who have: A Law degree or relevant legal qualification A genuine interest in personal injury and claims Excellent communication and written skills Strong attention to detail and organisation The confidence to communicate with clients and third parties A proactive approach and willingness to learn The ambition to build a long-term career within the legal/claims sector You do not need to be looking to become a solicitor,this role could suit someone who has completed a Law degree and wants to use their qualification in a practical, client-focused legal career.
