Job Description Conveyancer Harrogate £40,000 CLD Recruitment are working with a well-established and growing law firm in Harrogate who are looking to appoint an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their friendly and expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Conveyancer who is looking for a long-term career with a reputable firm where they will have the autonomy to manage their own caseload, whilst benefiting from dedicated administrative support.
The Role
Working within the Residential Conveyancing team, you will manage a full and varied caseload from instruction through to completion, including: Residential sales and purchasesFreehold and leasehold transactionsRemortgagesTransfers of equityShared equityStaircasingManaging files from inception through to completionLiaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and other professionalsWorking to deadlines and ensuring transactions progress efficientlyProviding excellent levels of client serviceSupporting and mentoring junior members of the team where requiredYou will have the benefit of dedicated 1-1 support from a Conveyancing Assistant, allowing you to focus on your caseload and client relationships.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have: Experience working within a Residential Conveyancing roleA proven track record of managing a full caseload of approximately 60100 filesStrong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process from start to finishExperience dealing with both freehold and leasehold mattersExcellent client care and communication skillsStrong organisational and time-management skillsThe ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlinesExcellent attention to detailStrong IT skills and experience using case management systemsExperience with Proclaim, Redbrick, Quill or similar systems would be advantageousThe ability to work independently whilst also being a strong team playerA willingness to support, train and develop junior members of staffA full clean driving licence would be advantageousIdeally, you will live within a commutable distance of HarrogateWhat's on Offer?
