Role Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant/Graduate Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone starting their accounting career to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of finance functions.
You will support the day-to-day financial operations of the business, assist with reporting and reconciliations, and work closely with senior finance staff to ensure accurate financial records are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the processing of purchase invoices, sales invoices
- Processing staff expenses
- Assisting with bank reconciliation and cashbook management
- Supporting month end and year end finance processes
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Preparing journals and supporting balance sheet reconciliation
- Monitoring accounts payable and accounts receivable accounts
- Assisting with VAT returns and compliance tasks
- Supporting audits and finance reporting activities
