The predicted salary is between 19 - 24 £ per hour.
We are seeking an experienced Fire Door Supervisor to oversee the safe, compliant and high-quality delivery of fire door installation, inspection and remediation works across our CLC projects. You will take responsibility for supervising operatives and subcontractors, ensuring all work meets FIRAS/BM TRADA standards, legal requirements and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth operation of a designated site.
- Supervise site personnel (including subcontractors).
- Ensure all site personnel carry out their designated tasks efficiently and effectively to enable the contract to be completed on time, with zero defects, within budget and with no risk to the Health & Safety of their operational team, the client or the general public.
- Act as the Customer Service Champion on site.
- Supervise the site to ensure it complies with Legal and Statutory requirements.
- Supervise the site to ensure it complies with Health, Safety and Welfare requirements.
- Support management in meeting the business needs.
- Carry out site surveys and document identifying the needs to complete the works.
- Carry out quality checks as required.
- Attend/control meetings with work colleagues and/or Clients/Customers when necessary.
- Ensure appearances and actions are professional and reflect the CLC company image.
About You
- Previous experience working as a dedicated Supervisor for fireworks and protection with the ability to work on multiple workstreams.
- A successful candidate will need to provide evidence of qualifications and training, NVQ or time served.
- Previously supervised a team of door/fire stopping installers.
- Must be experienced in working in the Social Housing/Health/High street sector.
- A Full UK driving license is essential.
- Ability to use and read surveying tools/programs used by CLC to capture works required across sites.
- Have knowledge of fire door upgrade repair techniques and fire door installation requirements.
- Have knowledge of fire stopping installation techniques and able to refer to manufacturers' installation sheets to review completed works in line with compliance requirements.
