About the Role
To support our continued growth, we are looking for Multi-Trade Operative to join our Bristol team.
We are currently seeking a skilled and versatile Multi-Trade Operative to join our growing team, delivering high-quality repair and maintenance services within the social housing sector. Working on disrepair cases, you will act as a key part of our responsive maintenance service, attending tenanted and void properties to carry out a broad range of repair works.
This is a client-facing role that requires a strong focus on first-time fix, high standards of workmanship, and excellent customer service. You’ll be working largely independently, aiming to complete as many tasks as possible per visit, to minimise disruption for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out multi-trade repairs on disrepair cases including:
- Plaster patching and minor rendering
- Painting and decorating
- Mould and damp treatment
- Applicants must be experienced/qualified in fitting kitchens, bathrooms and wet-rooms and have skills in associated trades such as carpentry domestic plumbing and tiling, doors, skirtings, kitchen units
- Complete works to a high standard with minimal supervision
- To have all round knowledge and experience in the general building trades
- Liaise professionally with tenants, client representatives, and internal teams

Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar multi-trade role within the social housing or property maintenance sector
- Strong skills in at least 3 core trades (carpentry, plastering, painting, damp/mould treatment)
- Full UK driving licence – essential
- DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to diagnose/problem solve
