To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Contracts Manager to join our team.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

As the Contracts Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Oversee the management and delivery on a number of contracts, both new work and refurbishment, up to the value of £3m
  2. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to required quality and standards
  3. Attend regular meetings and site visits
  4. Assist in the co-ordination, preparation, processing and selection of estimates, bids and tenders
  5. Preparation of monthly applications for payment and costing of variations
  6. Assist in selection of site team and suitable contractors
  7. Ensure all necessary contract documentation/reports are accurate and produced on time
  8. Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  9. Ensure H&S compliance is being met within designated contracts

Person Specification

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, experience, and attributes:

  1. Previous experience in a similar role
  2. Extensive experience working as a Contracts Manager/Project Manager on a variety of projects ranging in value up to £3m
  3. Experience in contract administration, planning, estimating, tender processes, health & safety and staff management
  4. Ability to build good working relationships and work to tight deadlines
  5. Proficient in Microsoft packages
  6. Experience of delivering planned works within occupied environments
  7. City and Guilds in a construction trade
