The Role
We are currently looking for an apprentice to work towards a multi-skilled NVQ consisting of plumbing, carpentry, tiling, minor plastering, and drainage. The successful candidate will work alongside our multi-skilled wet room installers on our Bristol City Council Framework for Disabled adaptations. This role is ideal for a focused individual keen to learn multiple trades, preferably working towards an NVQ in multi-skilled trades, or someone currently undertaking an NVQ plumbing apprenticeship. Candidates must be able to drive and have access to transport, as works are undertaken throughout the Bristol post codes.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside a fully qualified and experienced multi-trader to ensure multi-trade work is delivered professionally, in line with CLC Core Values and Equality standards.
- Learn how to charge for multi-trade work with your CLC Mentor, identifying cost reduction methods.
- Ensure the effective delivery of services in accordance with CLC Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Record work and complete administration tasks as required by CLC standards and deadlines.
- Report any Health and Safety issues and outstanding defects to your Supervisor, Contracts Manager, Health and Safety team, and Apprentice Coordinator.
