We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems across residential properties. This role requires a strong understanding of gas safety regulations and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure the highest standards of safety and efficiency. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for engineering and technical problem-solving to develop their careers within a reputable organisation.

Must have clean licence or own van where we would make a monthly payment for the use of the van in addition to salary. OOH Rota 1 in 4 weeks to be covered.

Duties:

  • Install, service, and repair gas appliances and systems in accordance with current safety standards and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of gas installations to identify faults or potential hazards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on gas equipment to ensure optimal operation.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues using appropriate tools and mechanical knowledge.
  • Document all work carried out accurately in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation, including risk assessments and safety protocols.

Skills:

  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during installation or repair activities.
  • Good understanding of basic maths for measurements, calculations, and technical documentation.
  • Clean Driving licences essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
