Clayworks is a pioneering design-led manufacturer of natural clay plasters and finishes. Our products are specified by leading architects and designers around the world, valued for their beauty, sustainability and performance.
We are looking for a Sales Advisor to join our team in Mullion, Cornwall. This is a client-facing role, ideal for someone who is passionate about design, interiors and sustainable materials, with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
The Role
- Act as a first point of contact for clients, whether in our showroom or by phone.
- Respond to emails, calls and all enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Support architects, designers, contractors and homeowners in choosing the right finishes for their projects.
- Work with our samples team to coordinate and organise samples for clients.
- Liaise with contractors to provide guidance on product suitability, technical details and lead times.
- Prepare quotations, process orders and manage sales records.
- Contribute to the development of all aspects of the business.
Skills & Experience
- Has experience in a sales or customer-facing role (interiors, design or materials preferred but not essential).
- Communicates confidently with both design professionals and contractors.
- Is highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
- Is proactive, personable and able to build strong client relationships.
- Has an interest in design, sustainability and creating beautiful spaces.
- A background in interior design/architecture, construction or building materials is essential.
